Where to begin….

I’m blessed to be living in the greatest city in the world for the last eleven years – New York City. Each day I awake to watch the sun warm the brick buildings outside of my window, and I’m still in awe of the energy Manhattan generates.

I’m an owner of Templeton & Associates, a technology consulting firm in Manhattan, which works with creative industries. Aside from the “day job”, I consider myself a professional observer, philosopher, traveler, daydreamer and writer.

Creating…

My writing began around age six when instead of bringing an object or a person to “Show and Tell”, I brought a story I had written – complete with illustrations. Although my talent for illustration never developed into more than stick figures and bloated animals, my writing became a solace, an escape and a journal of dreams. I can easily get lost in words, whether they are my own or a book I am reading.

My writing genres include: children’s fiction, adult contemporary literature expressed via novella, novel and/or short story. The goal of my writing is to bring healing, acknowledgment, transformation, humor, imagination and magic to little people who still need to have stories read to them, young people who believe in believing, and grown-up children who’ve realized one never truly grows up.
